HEC USAID MERIT AND NEED BASED SCHOLARSHIP 2021 The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in partnership with Higher Education Commission (HEC) is offering scholarships to financially disadvantaged students. HEC USAID Merit and Need Based Scholarhip program (MNBSP) is for female candidates. Scholarship and Financial Aid are offered through this program. More than 5300 scholarships have been awarded under HEC USAID MNBSP program.
HEC USAID MERIT AND NEED BASED SCHOLARSHIP 2021
Students can apply directly at the HEC website and submit the documents to their respective University’s Financial Aid Office. Two years of associate degree programs and the nomenclature of BA/BSc programs are excluded. The scholarship award will be made strictly on merit whereas HEC reserves the right to cancel the scholarship award if the information provided by the applicant is found dubious and incorrect at the time of physical verification. In public sector universities, admissions secured on a self-sustain/ self-support/ self-finance basis, or in evening programs with higher few structures are ineligible

HEC USAID Merit and Need Based Scholarship 2021 Covers
The Needs Based Scholarship program covers funds for the following expenses:
- Tuition Fee
- Books
- Boarding & Lodging
- Transportation
- Other Academic Costs
HEC USAID Merit and Need Based Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Only Female Candidates can apply for Session 2021
- Stduents enrolled in 30 partner Public and Private Universities
- Students pursuing Master’s/MBA/MS/MPhil/ Education Teaching degree programs in selected disciplines
- Female students who fulfilled criteria of need and provided all the information sought for under the rules
How to Apply for USAID MNBSP 2021
The application can be submitted only at HEC online system at http://scholarship.hec.gov.pk The printout of the application with required supporting documents can be submitted to the Financial Aid Office of the respective university. Scholarship Selection Process
The complete application process for USAID funded Merit and Need based scholarship program will be handled by the Institutional Scholarship Award Committee. The scholarship award committee will recommend the selected candidates to the HEC Scholarship Management Committee. HEC’s Scholarship Management Committee reviews the applications and approves the eligible cases. The funds are released and then the respective university’s will forward the funds to the selected candidates.
